In the Restoration industry you are apt to hear many of the excuses listed.  They are all practices  that companies use to do half a job and be able to lowball the price.  The problem with these tactics are that they don’t give the customer a fully restored machine! By only doing half a job, things break and wear out and what you are left with is a machine that needs more repair and restoration work!  Why would you pay twice for the same work? Are you really saving any money? No, of course not.
We firmly believe that if you are going to do a job, you do it right the first time.

The cost of machine restoration is high because you are going through that machine and replacing, re-plating and restoring everything. The machine is brand new when we are done. This is why we only restore machines one way….. Completely!  We don’t do things half way, forget the backs because no one sees them, or otherwise take short cuts just to get the money when we know the customer will not be completely satisfied.
Please keep these comments in mind if you are pricing out machine restoration and realize that you get what you pay for.
