Veteran’s Appreciation Area at ECPI University

BARSandBOOTHS was delighted to have been chosen to work with ECPI as they established a “Veterans Appreciation Area” in their Break Room, honoring the US Armed Forces and highlighting the accomplishments of Richmond/Moorefield’s student veterans.

All students and employees are welcome and encouraged to use the 1950s-style diner booths in Moorefield’s first floor Break Room; the hope is that everyone who enjoys the new seating area will think of and be thankful for our military personnel (active and retired).

The new seating area had been a long-time goal of CP Ron Tracey, and the Moorefield SVA Chapter participated in the dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Thursday, April 9.

Yesterday’s ceremony (February 2015) also kicked off the SVA’s “A Million Thanks” card-writing campaign in which students and employees are invited to sign thank you cards for US soldiers. The SVA has provided the necessary writing materials and will be collecting cards through April 30. Completed cards will be sent to “A Million Thanks” for further distribution to military personnel around the world.
